This includes charities, small businesses, and low-income individuals. For now, we rely on volunteers, grants, and voluntary contributions. Social Media Community Manager

  • Manage social media planning for organization and it’s clients
  • Interact by posting and responding to comments,
    sharing the work of others
  • Writing posts and stories
  • Interviewing relevant people for stories.

Research and Development Manager

  • Find information as requested by the staff
  • Present reports
  • Fill in business documents
  • Help with creation and launching of new projects

Multimedia Department Manager (creative, graphic design, video editing, etc)

  • Help with writing, video editing, and/or graphic design (depending on skills)
  • Manage the layout and design of blog posts, newsletters, posters, etc.
  • Consult on the aesthetic of created works
  • Create new works

Marketing Services Manager

  • Assist in planning marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the integration and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Provide support to marketing campaigns as needed, according to skills
  • Assist in evaluating and analyzing the campaign

Revenue Programs Manager (Sales, crowdfunding, fundraising)

  • Assist with online monetization programs – Manage and assist with fundraisers, including events and crowdfunding
  • Find and help apply for grants
  • Assist with finding new clients and contracts
  • Assist with other activities to help bring in income

Client Service Clerk

  • Help manage client projects
  • Delegate aspects of projects and services to the appropriate staff member
  • Present the final work to the client
  • Be the main point of contact between the client and the organization
  • Help resolve client conflicts
  • Ensure client satisfaction, including surveys
  • Ask for referrals
  • Delight the client and create Brand Ambassadors

Human Resource Manager 

  • Help with recruiting and training of staff
  • Promote a supportive, purposeful environment
  • Find and make helpful resources available to staff, such as mental health information
  • Resolve conflicts
  • Manage staff transfers/terminations
  • Ensure the workplace is as positive and productive as possible

Fiscal Clerk 

  • Help manage finances
  • Ensure we have sufficient income to meet our obligations
  • Identify investment opportunities
  • Help manage the books and accounts
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Facilitate completion of taxes

Revenue Supervisor 

  • Support the revenue department in increasing funds for the organization
  • Crowdfunding, fundraising, grant-seeking
  • Attracting new clients and contracts

Assistant Executive Director 

  • Assist the CEO and Executive director in overall management of the staff and company
  • Manage meetings and reports
  • Ensure a supportive and purposeful workplace environment
  • Assist with developing new projects
  • Assist with managing the organizational framework

Volunteer Positions

Volunteer with us for 5 – 15 hours a week! It’s a great way to network, build your skills, and give back to your community. Pro-bono work looks great on any resume – especially in the communications world!

Executive Director

Relevant skills are excellent written and spoken communication, organization, creativity, and analysis, as well as ability to work in a team and take direction. You will work directly under the founder (basically be her right-hand) to assist with tasks such as:

  • Overseeing Directors and delegating tasks
  • Organizing and managing schedules and meetings
  • Using the phone and internet to research answers to questions
  • Planning the direction of the company
  • Setting up and managing initiatives
  • Planning and executing campaigns
  • Social media
  • Staying updated on relevant developments
  • Wearing different hats and filling in as necessary
  • Fund-seeking (apply to grants and managing other campaigns)

Social Media Director

Relevant skills are excellent written and spoken communication, organization, creativity, and analysis, planning, the ability to give and take direction, and work in a team. You will help our social media engagement grow, and be supported by the Founder, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director. Your roles could include:

  • Social media planning for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Writing and scheduling posts
  • Responding to comments
  • Engaging in social media community
  • Overseeing other department staff: delegating tasks, managing concerns
  • Helping develop and fill staff positions
  • Using the phone and internet to research answers to questions
  • Applying information and recommendations
  • Staying updated on relevant developments
  • Wearing different hats and filling in as necessary

Revenue Director

You will help us identify and increase our revenue streams, and be supported by the Founder, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director. Your roles could include:

  • Fund-seeking (i.e. finding and applying to grants)
  • Managing crowdfunding campaigns
  • Managing and growing monetized platforms such as web and social media
  • Helping to implement new projects and initiatives
  • Writing reports, summarizing information
  • Networking with the community
  • Overseeing other department staff: delegating tasks, managing concerns
  • Helping develop and fill staff positions
  • Using the phone and internet to research answers to questions
  • Sorting information and recommendations
  • Staying updated on relevant developments
  • Wearing different hats and filling in as necessary

Human Resources Director

  • Managing schedules
  • Overseeing other department staff: delegating tasks, managing concerns
  • Organizing and managing schedules and meetings
  • Using the phone and internet to research answers to questions
  • Sorting information and recommendations

Fiscal Director

You will help us excel financially, and be supported by the Founder, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director. Your roles could include:

  • Helping to create and apply a budget
  • Managing our accounts receivable and payable
  • Helping with taxes
  • Fund-seeking (i.e. finding and applying to grants)
  • Writing reports, summarizing information
  • Overseeing other department staff: delegating tasks, managing concerns
  • Helping develop and fill staff positions
