This includes charities, small businesses, and low-income individuals. For now, we rely on volunteers, grants, and voluntary contributions. Volunteer Positions
Volunteer with us for 1 – 15 hours a week! It’s a great way to network, build your skills, and give back to your community. Pro-bono work looks great on any resume – especially in the communications world!
We also hold Mentorship, fellowship, and other events and activities both online and in-person.
Executive Department
Relevant skills are excellent written and spoken communication, organization, creativity, and analysis, as well as ability to work in a team and take direction. You will work directly under the founder (basically be her right-hand) to assist with tasks such as:
- Overseeing Directors and delegating tasks
- Organizing and managing schedules and meetings
- Using the phone and internet to research answers to questions
- Planning the direction of the company
- Setting up and managing initiatives
- Planning and executing campaigns
- Social media
- Staying updated on relevant developments
- Wearing different hats and filling in as necessary
- Fund-seeking (apply to grants and managing other campaigns)
4 Positions Available:
- 1 Director ( 5hr weekly minimum)
- 1 Manager (3hr weekly minimum)

Social Media Department
Relevant skills are excellent written and spoken communication, organization, creativity, and analysis, planning, the ability to give and take direction, and work in a team. You will help our social media engagement grow, and be supported by the Founder, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director. Your roles could include:
- Social media planning for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Writing and scheduling posts
- Responding to comments
- Engaging in social media community
- Overseeing other department staff: delegating tasks, managing concerns
- Helping develop and fill staff positions
- Using the phone and internet to research answers to questions
- Applying information and recommendations
- Staying updated on relevant developments

Communications Department

You will maximize the staff experience at Planet Hope, and be supported by the founder, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director. Your roles could include:
- Creating and managing promotion
- Increasing brand awareness
- Campaign making and oversight
- Creating content for Planet Hope’s website
- Conducting customer and market research
- Researching for new and helpful marketing tools
- Experimenting with various channels for a contact creation
- Studies consumer trends through surveys and research
- Staying updated on relevant developments
- Wearing different hats and filling in as necessary

Creative Department

- Design and create engaging multimedia content
- Using skills in relevant design packages, including Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Wix
- keeping up to date with technological and software developments
- Making technical recommendations

- Fund-seeking (i.e. finding and applying to grants)
- Managing crowdfunding campaigns
- Managing and growing monetized platforms such as web and social media
- Helping to implement new projects and initiatives
- Writing reports, summarizing information
- Networking with the community
- Overseeing other department staff: delegating tasks, managing concerns

- develops creative and cost-effective methods to deliver excellent client-based services

Fellowship Leader
Relevant skills are excellent written and spoken communication, organization, creativity, and analysis, planning, the ability to give and take direction, and work in a team. You will help us excel financially, and be supported by the Founder, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director. Your roles could include:
- Run the fellowship channel, posting the fellowship engagement activities.
- Take prayer requests from the team and from the form on our website, and manage the regular prayer meetings.
- Doing Wednesday in the word on social media and writing uplifting, Biblical articles on our blog.
- Managing any Biblical research that is needed and assisting everything prayer/Bible/fellowship related.
Mentorship leader
Relevant skills are excellent written and spoken communication, organization, creativity, and analysis, planning, the ability to give and take direction, and work in a team. You will help us excel financially, and be supported by the Founder, Executive Assistant, and Executive Director. Your roles could include:
- Helping people set and reach goals.
- Plan group mentorship meetings and Fun Nights.
- Help with research for networking/engagement activities for the staff individually or as a group.
- Being a point of contact for support, encouragement and help finding information.
