Eat what you want day! Let that sink in! The possibilities are endless! The food combinations are innumerable! My taste buds are activated. What about you?
The History of Eat What You Want Day:
According to their website, “Here’s one day you may actually enjoy yourself. Ignore all those on-again-off-again warnings.”
Ruth and Thomas Roy started the holiday to allow people the freedom not to be focused on their food hangups – at least for the day. Thomas and Ruth Roy run a herb and holiday business called Wellcat Herbs and Wellcat Holidays. Fun fact: These two have been busy and have created over 80 holidays!
What Can You do to Celebrate the Day?
Well, your imagination is the limit. Anything is fair game as long as it’s food-related. Do you crave cheeseburgers and fries? Pizza? Maybe it’s a lobster dinner or an extravagant night out with your fave person.
The only rule is: Eat what you want! Don’t count carbs, calories, or grams. Just eat and enjoy!
Comment below what is the one thing that you will eat today? What taboo food will you devour and enjoy without feeling guilty?
