This verse certainly packs a punch! God’s thoughts are above our thoughts – as the heavens are higher. Let’s explore that. We are like tiny ants that are walking around on the ground. And God is like the pilot in the plane, or perhaps more accurately like an astronaut in outer space.

What little we know. What little we understand- is often faulty because we don’t see the whole picture. He is the creator. He considers the entire image as an all-knowing and in control God. We try to figure it out – we run around and fret. Yet all we need to do is rely on Him. He has a good plan for us. He is for us and not against us. Don’t get me wrong and think that this verse means we won’t have hard times – it just means we are not alone in the suffering, the desperation, and anxiety. It means He walks with us – He knows what we need. We need to cry out for Him!
