See Exodus 18:13-24

Are you burned out? Feeling Overwhelmed?

Are you an entrepreneur, mom, or dad of little kids (big kids too)? Is your to-do list longer than your energy? Do you feel burned out, overwhelmed, and anxious?

You aren’t alone; there was lots to do even back in Moses’ day! He was overwhelmed with the pressures of all the people and their neverending requests. He was literally working from day to night! His father-in-law saw it was not good. He told Moses he would get burned out.

It’s good that Moses had someone to advocate for him. Do you? If not, you need to advocate for yourself!

The advice Moses got was to DELEGATE! If that is possible in your business or home- DO IT!

Other ideas:

  1. Take breaks during your workday do some deep breathing or mindfulness.
  2. Make a list of to-do’s and give yourself grace if you can’t get it all done.
  3. Don’t be a workaholic: who doesn’t enjoy their life, family, and the beauty of creation.
  4. Take time to balance your workday!
